TAB 2024: Resources for the Future
At the Tallinn Architecture Biennale (TAB), Saviukumaja highlights the importance of traditional and locally sourced natural materials by contributing to Déchelette Architecture’s project, which focuses on local natural building materials
UKU natural plasters, putties, and paints have been gliding under our team's trowels and brushes for over 10 years. UKU plasters are environmentally friendly and do not burden nature. By using UKU materials, you can be sure to find only pure nature there. Do a simple test yourself: when mixed, the natural plaster does not harden when left standing in a bucket. Being familiar with finishing on a daily basis, it is no secret how important it is to have fast access to materials. When it comes to UKU materials, we can only sing praises and send them towards Mooste. UKU's great achievement can be considered bringing fine finishing plasters to Estonia, starting from 2011. This provides balance and availability, instead of unattainably high-priced imported plasters. Thanks to a domestic manufacturer, fine finishing plasters are easily accessible, and the quality of all plastering work has grown exponentially.
