A private project in Doha requiring a movement-tolerant surface system for GRC (Glass Reinforced Concrete) structures in extreme desert conditions. UKUFLEX, an elastic lime- based plaster system developed by UKU, was applied across façades and interiors. Over 9,000 m2 of finishes were installed by UKU Masters.

Designed by Specific Generic as Lead Architect and Interior Designer, the 455 m2 flagship store spans two levels and combines Scandinavian minimalism with a precise retail material palette. Custom fixtures were developed by ALU, integrating display systems and lighting within a cohesive architectural framework. Interior surfaces are finished in Lime Marmorino, specified in a custom-developed color tone for the project.

Presented at the Tallinn Architecture Biennale 2024, Ornamental Records from Tallinn explored structure and material through a series of rammed earth columns. Designed by Dechelette Architecture (France), the installation combined traditional earth construction with metal and wood fragments. The columns functioned both as structural forms and acoustic elements within the exhibition space.

Designed by Kamp Arhitektid, the LHV Lounge at Tallinn Airport is conceived as a calm retreat within a high-traffic travel environment. Interior surfaces are finished in UKU White Lime Marmorino, contributing a refined, smooth mineral expression aligned with the project’s restrained material palette.

Designed by Henning Larsen Architects in collaboration with EcoCocon and Realdania, Feldballe Free School sets a benchmark in bio-based educational architecture. The 250 m2 building is constructed almost entirely from natural materials. EcoCocon straw panels form the primary structural envelope, while interior surfaces are finished with UKU Decorative Clay Plaster as part of the project’s bio-based material strategy.

The interior of Meliva Maakri Dental Clinic, designed by Milli Maier Veske, is finished in UKU Lime Paints and Lime Marmorino — specified for healthcare environments requiring durable, mineral-based surface systems. Lime Marmorino adds a controlled matte surface and mineral depth, reinforcing the clinic’s restrained architectural expression.

Located in the Old Town of Pärnu, Frost Boutique Hotel Spa combines restored 18th-century architecture with contemporary wellness design. Spa interiors are finished in UKU Lime Marmorino / Rustic, integrated across pool, sauna, and relaxation areas. The mineral surface complements the historic envelope with a restrained, tactile material expression suited to high-use spa environments.

Designed by Apex Arhitektid, this contemporary coastal residence overlooking the sea in Haapsalu is defined by a clear architectural structure and a restrained natural material palette. Interior surfaces are finished in UKU Clay Marmorino, delivering a refined, smooth matte mineral expression suited to coastal conditions. Throughout the house, lightweight clay boards with hemp shiv were used as the plaster substrate. Installed similarly to gypsum boards, they provide an ideal base for clay plasters while eliminating drying time and accelerating the construction process.

Positioned within the expansive landscapes of Setomaa in South-Estonia, Ilmaveere Boutique Hotel is conceived as an immersive retreat that integrates contemporary architecture with a remote natural setting. The project prioritizes spatial openness and material restraint, using UKU natural lime and clay paints and lime marmorinos throughout interior surfaces. The mineral finishes contribute a tactile warmth and tonal depth, aligned with the hotel’s quiet, landscape-oriented architectural character.

Dating from the 1730s, Rõuge St. Mary’s Church represents a significant example of historic ecclesiastical architecture in South-Estonia. The recent facade restoration employed NHL (Natural Hydraulic Lime) lime plaster and white lime paint — traditional mineral-based systems specified for heritage conservation. The intervention prioritizes material compatibility with the original masonry substrate while meeting contemporary performance standards for moisture regulation and breathability in historic building envelopes.
