HEMP-CLAY LIGHTBOARDS
The lightweight clay board is a modern clay construction panel, suitable for interior building and can be used similarly to standard gypsum boards. These boards combine the advantages of traditional clay materials with modern construction standards.
- Made from local clay, reinforced with natural fibers (hemp shives), and fully recyclable.
- An ideal dry construction solution for interior building and renovation in wooden and stone houses.
- Regulates indoor humidity levels. Suitable for walls, ceilings, and other surfaces, from drywall to insulation layers.
- Offers high mechanical strength due to its jute-fabric base layer.
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and open-pored. Remove dust or loose particles. For uneven masonry, lightly moisten the surface.
Suitable Substrates: Wooden or metal frameworks.
Board Installation:
- Screw or staple the boards to the supporting structure.
- Use clay adhesive for attaching the boards directly to the wall, including stone surfaces (maximum layer thickness: 10 mm).
- Clay adhesive can also be used to glue boards onto stone surfaces.
