Saviukumajale omistati EPD keskkonnadeklaratsioon
Meil on hea meel teatada, et Meil on hea meel teatada, et Saviukumaja OÜ toodetele on väljastatud ametlik EPD (Environmental Product Declaration), mis tõendab meie materjalide minimaalset keskkonnamõju.
Mida tähendab EPD?
EPD on rahvusvaheliselt tunnustatud ja kolmanda osapoole poolt verifitseeritud dokument, mis hindab toote täielikku elutsüklit ja selle ökoloogilist jalajälge alates tooraine hankimisest kuni tootmiseni.
Lihtsustatult öeldes, see on meie materjalide keskkonnamõju sertifikaat, mis annab tõenduse, et UKU tooted toetavad rohesertifikaatidega (nagu LEED või BREEAM) hooneteväärindamist ning aitavad luua tõeliselt jätkusuutlikku ja tulevikukindlat elukeskkonda.

Remember the rammed earth flower pots we showed you in the making a while back? 🪴
They have officially found their home! The Lasnamäe Circular Economy Centre, designed by Kolm Koma Architects, is now styled, and we are thrilled to share the final photos of our rammed earth planters fully in place and filled with lush greenery. Crafted by UKU Masters with additional support from Krohwin, using natural materials from Saviukumaja.
The unique, layered texture of rammed earth fits seamlessly with the centre’s philosophy of circularity and eco-conscious design. Each planter is one-of-a-kind, a story of natural materials and slow craftsmanship.

Back in April, the new Lasnamäe Circular Economy Centre officially opened its doors!
Now that the centre is fully up and running, we are excited to share a beautiful detail from this eco-conscious project. In the restrooms, UKU Compressed Earth Blocks (CEBs) were used.
@kolmkoma architects wanted experimented with two distinct laying styles:
✨ Traditional jointed brickwork that highlights the texture and rhythm of each block.
✨ A seamless, jointless effect where the blocks merge into a smooth, minimalist surface.
The earthy tones of the clay walls are beautifully complemented by @myceen_com sustainable, mushroom-grown lamps.

The walls of the new Põlva parish government building feature a beautiful decorative clay plaster, brought to life through the vision of @kolmkoma Arhitektid. As the lead architects, they chose to use local Joosu gray clay, which was carefully crafted into the final premium finishes by us at UKU (Saviukumaja).
