THIN REED MAT

The thin reed mat is a natural and practical plastering base for both clay and lime plasters. Reed stems are loosely arranged and stitched parallelly together with durable, stainless steel.

Its open structure makes it an ideal plaster base, as clay adheres exceptionally well around the reeds, ensuring a strong and stable foundation. The mat is durable and easy to staple onto a framework, making installation quick and convenient.

Usage:

  • Can be installed on walls and ceilings, including exterior walls.
  • Suitable for both smooth and uneven solid walls, hewn log walls, boarded framework walls, and wooden construction panels.
  • When joining mats, the ends of the reed stems should be overlapped.
